  1. Chevron Corporation's Web site for children (chevroncars.com) was selected as the "most innovative site in 1998." Visit the site and try to determine why.

  2. Locate recent information on Amazon.com and its battle with Barnes & Noble (bn.com).
    1. Enter Amazon's site and find the top selling textbooks on EC.
    2. Find a review of one of these textbooks.
    3. Review the services you can get from Amazon and describe all the benefits you can receive.


  3. Enter emarketer.com and find the latest statistics on EC growth.

  4. Go to fedex.com (you will need to go to its U.S. operations) and find information about recent EC projects that are related to logistics and supply chain management.

  5. Go to mixonic.com and create a CD. Then visit iprint.com and create your own business card. Enter jaguar.com and configure a car. What are the advantages of each activity? The disadvantages? (Note - musicmaker.com has gone out of business since the publication of this text.)

  6. It is time you try to sell or buy on an online auction. You can try eBay.com, auction.yahoo.com, or an auction of your choice. You can participate in an auction from almost any country. Prepare a short report describing your experience.
